Week 3 - BALT 4396 - Using ChatGPT to Train Employees

Image
ChatGPT serves as a powerful tool for training employees by providing a dynamic and interactive learning environment. Businesses can employ ChatGPT to develop virtual training modules that simulate real-world scenarios, enabling employees to practice and enhance their skills in a risk-free setting. The model's ability to understand and respond to natural language queries allows for personalized and adaptive training experiences. Employees can engage in conversations with ChatGPT to receive guidance on specific tasks, troubleshoot problems, and seek clarification on complex concepts, fostering a more interactive and effective learning process. Also, ChatGPT can assist in creating on-demand training materials. By generating detailed explanations, tutorials, and FAQs, businesses can ensure that employees have access to comprehensive resources whenever they need them. This not only facilitates continuous learning but also supports self-paced development, catering to diverse learning st...

Image
ChatGPT can serve as an invaluable virtual assistant for businesses by providing a seamless and efficient means of communication. Its natural language processing capabilities enable it to understand and respond to a wide range of queries, from customer inquiries to internal task management. Businesses can leverage ChatGPT to handle routine customer support interactions, providing instant responses to frequently asked questions and resolving issues in real-time. This not only enhances customer satisfaction but also frees up human agents to focus on more complex and strategic aspects of support. Additionally, ChatGPT can assist in streamlining internal operations within a business. Week 2 - BALT 4396 - AI Changing the Workplace

Image
AI is constantly changing and evolving in the workforce. This can possibly be a good and bad thing all around for the workforce. On the good side, AI will create more efficient and easier processes that will help companies since they will be able to automate them and free up employees to do more complex jobs AI would not be able to take care of. On the bad side, AI is estimated to take over 85 million jobs by 2025 since many jobs would be able to be automated eliminating the need for human workers (Talmage-Rostron, 2024).  Obviously nobody can predict the future and we can only make assumptions of the future. I will be very interesting to see how AI will be implemented into jobs, how companies will conduct themselves when AI comes to the table, and how they will handle their employees. AI has the possibility to take over many jobs, but it will also have the chance to create many jobs for others. Talmage-Rostron, M. (2024, January 12).  How Will Artificial Intellig...

Week 2 - BALT 4396 - Benefits of using RPA

Image
Businesses are increasingly turning to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline their operations and enhance efficiency. RPA involves the use of AI or "bots" to automate repetitive tasks that are typically time-consuming for human employees. One significant advantage of RPA is its ability to handle repetitive tasks with precision and speed, allowing human workers to focus on more complex tasks that AI cannot accomplish. For instance, in industries such as finance and accounting, RPA can be employed to automate data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation, reducing errors and improving overall accuracy. By implementing RPA, businesses can not only enhance productivity but also free up valuable human resources to engage in higher-value activities that require creativity, critical thinking, and decision-making. Also, RPA offers scalability and adaptability, making it a versatile solution for businesses of various sizes and industries. The technology can be integrated...

This not only improves customer satisfaction but also frees up human resources for more complex tasks. Secondly, ChatGPT can be used for internal processes, facilitating streamlined communication and knowledge-sharing within an organization. It can assist employees by answering HR-related queries, providing information on company policies, and offering guidance on common workplace issues. Additionally, ChatGPT can be integrated into collaboration tools to assist with project management, brainstorming sessions, and documentation tasks. Overall, leveraging ChatGPT in business operations can enhance efficiency, improve customer interacti...

Week 1 - BALT 4396 - RunwayML Experiment

Since all these new AI sites have been coming out I have been very interested in trying them and seeing what they can do and what they are capable of. It is very interesting to me to see how far technology has come and that is ever changing and evolving right in front of our eyes. I decided to test out the RunwayML AI video tool and see what it could do. I input "Create a video about a man hiking a snowy mountain range overlooking a crystal blue lake" and this is what the AI came up with. https://app.runwayml.com/creation/580970e7-9d20-40de-a00b-8eb37fbc5489 I was interested to see what the AI could do with a scenery type video and how it would look. I think the video turned out very interesting and cool. It looks very realistic and it almost put out exactly what I was thinking in my head. It's always interesting to me to see how an AI perceives things and how the videos turn out.
